The Office of Student Life at James Madison University is currently seeking applicants for the department Administrative Assistant. This position will provide administrative support to the department Director and assist in general duties associated with the Student Life administration area. This position serves as a campus security authority under the Jean Cleary Campus Safety Act.
The Division of Student Affairs includes University Career Center, Center for Multicultural Student Services, Community Engagement and Volunteer Center, Counseling Center, Dean of Students, Disability Services, Student Accountability & Restorative Practices, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity & Expression, Orientation & Transition, Residence Life, Student Life, University Health Center, University Recreation, and Well Dukes. The division is an integral part of the campus community and works collaboratively with the other divisions of the university in supporting the mission, vision, and values of the university. Assistant Director for Residential Well-being

The Assistant Director for Residential Well-being serves as a member of the Well Dukes team, and is responsible for the on-going development, implementation, and assessment of the residential well-being experience. The position reports to the Director of Well Dukes while actively collaborating with other campus and community support services to assist with delivery of relevant population-based education and consultation. |

James Madison University’s Department of Computer Information Systems and Business Analytics (CIS & BSAN) is seeking applicants for a one-year visiting Assistant Professor appointment beginning in the Fall of 2025.
The Department of CIS & BSAN is an academic unit of the College of Business and has 25 full-time faculty members, over 600 CIS majors in 3 concentrations (IS, Business Analytics, and Information and Cybersecurity Management), 80 CIS minors, and 50 BSAN minors, and is growing. In addition, the department supports the college by providing core business classes in information systems, quantitative methods, business statistics, and operations management. The department places primary emphasis on its undergraduate programs that include hands-on projects, laboratory exercises, case analyses, and engaging classroom experiences designed to prepare graduates to work independently and in team-oriented environments. The CIS program is accredited by ABET, making the department one of only 10 CIS programs in the nation accredited by both the AACSB and ABET. |

The Financial and Administrative Coordinator represents JMU and must exhibit high standards of professionalism and customer service. The successful candidate will assist the School of Nursing administrative office for the School of Nursing Director to manage all School of Nursing budgets, purchasing processes, and shared HR processes. |
