Student Employee - IE	Harrisonburg
The Academic Success Program (ASP) is an intervention developed to assist JMU students on academic suspension or academic probation in employing the academic strategies and personal motivation needed to succeed at JMU. The workshop sessions focus on topics such as time management, motivation, studying, self-care, and campus resources. Topics will be delivered through discussion and exploration of the actions, strategies, and skills for immediate utilization.
Student Assistant VPSA - IE	Harrisonburg
The Student Assistant to the Vice President’s Office for Student Affairs is an integral part of the Student Affairs Office team and supports efforts to strengthen connections between Student Affairs and the student body. This position assists with coordinating the Vice President for Student Affairs’ student engagement schedule, supporting the Student Advisory Board, and maintaining engagement tracking and audits. Working closely with the Vice President for Student Affairs Engagement Fellow and the Student Affairs team, the student assistant contributes to engagement strategy and helps improve communication between the Student Affairs Office and students. This role also provides administrative support and assists with projects and initiatives across the office. This position is an excellent opportunity for students interested in higher education, leadership, and student engagement to gain hands-on experience working with Student Affairs administrators while contributing to meaningful campus initiatives.
ISSS, Graduate Assistant - Programming & Communications	Harrisonburg
ISSS seeks a graduate student with significant global experience to support the ISSS Student Team in engaging the JMU international community by creating, facilitating, and marketing programming that supports, meets the needs of, and highlights the strengths of current and prospective international students at JMU. This is an academic year appointment. The start date for this GA position will be training which may begin as early as August 10th, 2026. This position requires you to be available for training between August 10th and 19th. Most hours of this assistantship take place between 8am and 5pm, Monday - Friday. Periodically, this position will help with programming during weekend hours. This position will work 20 hours per week.
