Adolescent Health Educator (11-Month Position)	Harrisonburg
Adolescent Health Educators are responsible for assisting with the planning, coordination and implementation of the Personal Responsibility Education Program, funded by the Family Youth Services Bureau. The PREP program is a collaborative effort that emphasizes principles of positive youth development and optimal health emphasizing both abstinence and contraception and addressing the adulthood preparation subjects of healthy relationships, parent-child communication, educational and career success, healthy life skills, and adolescent development in order to significantly reduce the number of teen pregnancies in the Harrisonburg, Rockingham and Page County area of Virginia. This is an 11-month, full-time position with a recurring rest period of July 10th - August 9th. The Department of Finance and Business Law in the College of Business at James Madison University (JMU) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Finance position to begin Fall 2026. About the Department: The Finance and Business Law Department is staffed by 17 full-time faculty with 14 faculty in finance and 3 faculty in Business Law. The department serves both Finance and Quantitative Finance majors and college business law courses. FIN & BLAW faculty have received numerous awards and recognitions for outstanding teaching, service, and research. JMU subscribes to both the Standard & Poor’s Compustat, the University of Chicago’s Center for Research in Securities Prices (CRSP), MSCI ESG KLD and NYSE TAQ databases through WRDS, and students and faculty have access to Bloomberg through the Gaglioti Capital Markets Laboratory. Interdisciplinary and applied research is encouraged. About the College: The College of Business includes nationally ranked undergraduate and graduate programs and is dual-accredited in both Business and Accounting by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), a distinction achieved by less than 2% of business schools worldwide. The College serves a substantial student body, including over 5,000 undergraduate students and more than 250 graduate students.
