Clinical Psychologist Harrisonburg
The Shenandoah Valley Child Development Clinic is an interdisciplinary clinic that has been providing services to children and families from birth to 21 years of age for more than 40 years. The CDC is a grant funded program through the VA Department of Health. The clinic addresses concerns regarding education, behavior, health, emotions, development, and the parent-child relationship. We serve a broad range of clients that include foster children and high-risk families. Our primary goal is to ensure children receive the support and evaluation services needed to help them maximize their potential. The clinic’s hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Parking Cadet Program Lead Harrisonburg
Parking and Transit Services is seeking a Parking Cadet Program Lead to supervise a staff of approximately 20 student employees, fostering a positive, team-oriented work environment to meet the department's goals of high quality customer service and maintaining the campus parking system. The position will also involve regular enforcement of JMU's campus parking regulations through foot and vehicular patrol, including during evening hours, and assistance supervising parking for campus special events.
Admissions Counselor Harrisonburg
The Office of Admissions at James Madison University is accepting applications for an Admissions Counselor. This position is primarily responsible for representing JMU to prospective students through on- and off-campus recruitment efforts. It involves executing strategic recruitment travel (potentially 8 weeks in the fall and 3 weeks in the spring) and reviewing freshman applications. This position offers the option to work remotely one day per week.
Assistant Director, Community Health Education Harrisonburg
The Assistant Director of Community Health Education serves on the Institute for Innovation in Health and Human Services (IIHHS) Leadership Team, oversees community health programs (SexEdVA, the Waynesboro Promotores de Salud program, and the CHW Training and TA Center), and leads the growth of community health programming into the future. For IIHHS, community health includes the full social determinants of health, not only disease prevention and medical care linkage. One specific area of growth includes growing the Community Health Worker Training and Technical Assistance Program that helps to build the capacity among members of our immigrant and other underserved communities for health-related fields in Harrisonburg and the surrounding counties. IIHHS is seeking a creative, self-starting team member, who is effective working alone and as part of a team. The Assistant Director ensures that all fiscal and personnel functions of the department operate at optimum efficiency, that grant funding supports program operations, and that deliverables stay on schedule and within budget. The Assistant Director reports to the Director of IIHHS and provides fiscal and administrative support for areas and positions within the department. This is not a remote/telework position.
Bilingual Community Health Educator (Part-Time) Harrisonburg

Technical & Operations Fellowship - Wilson Hall Auditorium Harrisonburg
The Technical & Operations Fellowship at Wilson Hall Auditorium on the campus of James Madison University provides advanced, hands-on training in theatre production & stage management, as well as opportunities to operate state of the art audio, lighting & video systems. The fellowship begins June 9th, 2025 and runs through February 16th, 2026. The fellowship requires a season-long commitment. The fellow will receive a stipend total of $17,225 for the 36 week contract, which will be paid in increments bi-weekly. The fellow will not work more than 40 hours per week, but will average of 29 hours per week across the length of the contract. Housing and benefits are not included.
Student Access Advocate (SAA) - IE Harrisonburg
The Office of Disability Services (ODS) is seeking a motivated, flexible, and organized individual who enjoys connecting with others to serve as the 2025-2026 Student Access Advocate (SAA). The ideal candidate excels working alone as well as on a team to assist the department with engaging the community through the participation, creation, and implementation of disability advocacy events as well as supporting students with disabilities, as needed. They must also have a willingness to assist with other program areas within the office, as needed. ODS staff training is tentatively set for August 13 - August 15, 2025, and is mandatory. The Student Access Advocate (SAA) is expected to work 15-20 hours per week, Monday-Friday, during the hours of 8 am and 5 pm, with occasional hours outside of that timeframe.
