This position organizes, plans, maintains, and oversees both preparatory and instructional spaces for Microbiology, Medical Bacteriology and Organic Chemistry instructional laboratory courses, as well as equipment, instrumentation, specimens, chemicals, materials/supplies, and ensures instructional lab spaces are prepared for use by students and lab leaders. Furthermore, this position purchases equipment, instrumentation, and materials/supplies for the College of Science (COS)-related instructional labs by preparing requisitions and placing p-card orders, receiving deliveries, ensuring invoices are paid in a timely manner, and following all rules and regulations related to UNT procurement and purchasing. This position trains and supervises student worker/s to assist with COS-related instructional laboratory breakdown, clean-up, and preparation, and receipt and distribution of deliveries to COS-related instructional labs. This position may assist with identification, training, and/or observation of Adjunct Assistants and Student Assistants who lead laboratory sections. |
