UG RA Field and Lab Tech	Denton
Remote field work in the Lower Rio Grande Valley and Guadalupe Mountains of Texas. The Incumbent must be able to work almost entirely outdoors in inclement conditions and be able to carry up to 40lbs of equipment up to 5km over uneven and rugged terrain. Duties will also include data entry and database management, and some lab analyses per project protocols. A knowledge of birds of the LRGV of Texas and experience collecting radio telemetry data are preferred. Housing is provided if needed, but preference is given to people not in need of housing.

The technician will lead fieldwork for a comprehensive study of the population viability, movement ecology, and habitat affinities of the threatened White-tailed Hawk in South Texas. Research will focus on movement and dispersal patterns, characterization of gene flow patterns and population genetic diversity, the influence of fire, reproductive success, survival, habitat affinities, and the development of a predictive habitat distribution model. The data collection will involve searching for nests, monitoring nests, documenting productivity, marking birds with coded anodized bands and GSM solar-tracking devices, and monitoring the movements and survival of marked birds.

Lead Facilities Technician is responsible for assisting the Facilities Director in scheduling and completing the following tasks. These examples are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work performed in positions allocated to this position.
Groundskeeper	Fort Worth
Landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging and raking and sprinkler installation.
Scientific Lab Technician	Denton
Under the guidance of the Instructional Lab Supervisor, prepare the microbiology and related teaching labs for use by students; oversee and participate in all preparation of materials and spaces by prep personnel; prepare media, create and maintain chemical / supply / material / instrumentation / equipment inventories for microbiology and related labs; assist Instructional Lab Supervisor as requested; and act as a point of contact for graduate services assistants and student workers.
