| Reporting to the Director of Finance and Donor Stewardship, the Business Manager has full responsibility for the day-to-day financial operations of Institutional Advancement and UNT Health Foundation. The Business Manager will support month-end, quarterly, and annual close processes across multiple fund types (operating, designated, gift, and private grant), prepare journal entries, conduct complex financial analyses, and ensure the accuracy of financial statement line items. Responsibilities also include developing annual operating budgets, forecasting, requisitions, accounts payable, accounts receivable, preparing financial reports for leadership, and strengthening internal controls, policies, and procedures. The position will manage the foundation’s annual audit preparation and other day-to-day functions of accounting services.
The Business Manager will serve as liaison to UNT System and UNT Health budget and finance offices and the UNT Health Foundation board of directors. The Business Manager must be able to set their own priorities to meet business demands, make decisions autonomously, and work collaboratively with all stakeholders. |
