Contract Analyst

| The Contract Analyst position within the Research Contracting team of Grants & Contracts Administration unit, is responsible for reviewing standard contract terms, identifying key provisions, and escalating non-standard or complex issues. This role develops foundational knowledge of contract principles, regulatory requirements, and institutional policies while managing assigned agreements in a high-volume environment. The Contract Analyst supports the administration of research-related agreements with a primary focus on standard, lower-risk, and non-funded agreements. This position works under the guidance of the Assistant Director and in collaboration with senior analysts to ensure agreements are processed in accordance with university policies and applicable regulations. assists with the preparation and processing of research-related agreements, including compiling and organizing contract documents and supporting materials. They also assist in basic regulatory and policy requirement review (FAR, DFAR, CFR) and elevate questions to senior staff. This role is responsible for accurate and timely entry of contract data into the Research Contracting document management system and for tracking contract status throughout the review process. This position plays a key role in supporting consistent workflow processes, accurate recordkeeping, and effective communication across the research contracting function. The Contract Analyst may also perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned. |

| The Assistant Director for Leadership and Fraternity & Sorority Initiatives provides strategic leadership for university-wide leadership development initiatives that empower students to build leadership capacity, foster meaningful connections, and contribute positively to the UNT community. Reporting to the Director of the Center for Leadership Development, this position leads leadership education initiatives, advises signature leadership programs, and partners closely with the Fraternity & Sorority Life team to enhance the educational, leadership, and developmental experiences of fraternity and sorority members. Through collaboration, coaching, assessment, and strategic planning, this position advances the mission of the Center for Leadership Development by developing ethical, engaged, and community-minded student leaders. |
