Position Overview
Teachers employed for this program will be scheduled to teach virtual private and group music lessons for up to 50 students in the Dallas ISD school district on their primary instrument. The hours of the position are flexible but will typically occur between 8:00am and 5:00pm.

Minimum Qualifications
Must reside in the state of Texas Hold a BM, MM, GAC, or DMA from the College of Music at the University of North Texas Complete fingerprinting via IdentoGo upon hire at own expense Successfully pass Criminal History Check through Dallas ISD

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to create engaging lesson plans that incorporate technology. Strong communication and presentation skills for effective online teaching The ability to motivate and inspire students of all ages and skill levels. Capacity to adapt teaching methods to individual student needs and learning styles. Ability to provide constructive feedback and track student progress. Knowledge of Texas UIL procedures and requirements.

Job Duties
- Conduct Private Music Lessons virtually to students within Dallas ISD's Virtual Private Music Lesson Program
- Keep lesson notes and communicate effectively with the VPML Administration

Physical Requirements
- Communicating with others to exchange information.
- Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing.
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.

- No adverse environmental conditions expected.

Varied, with hours Monday through Friday between 8:00am - 5:00pm
