| Adjunct faculty plans classes and implements and evaluates teaching/learning objectives and student learning outcomes in conjunction with the Program Coordinator. Adjunct faculty undertakes the divisional and professional responsibilities of a part-time faculty member, including office hours. The successful applicant will be expected to provide instruction for lower-division Political Science courses, including American Government I (National), American Government II (state), Introduction to Political Science, Introduction to Public Policy, and various other political science courses. Most courses are offered in the afternoons and evenings. Adjunct faculty members may be required to use certain texts and meet certain parameters set by the Department of History and Political Science. Adjunct instructors will also be required to include, in their courses, certain student assessment measures determined by the department, and to compile data on those assessment criteria. |

Adjunct faculty undertakes the divisional and professional responsibilities of a part-time faculty member, including office hours on campus. The successful applicant will be expected to provide quality instruction in graduate Public Leadership and Administration courses matching the instructor’s background, education, and skills base. The successful applicant will be expected to provide instruction in a full range of graduate level face-to-face, hybrid and online courses focused on pubic administration, including, but not limited to, Data Analytics and Research Methods, Public Service & Society, Performance Measurement & Monitoring, Intergovernmental Relations, Healthcare Administration, Public Health Leadership, Leading and Managing Pubic Organizations, and Public Private Partnerships.
Adjunct faculty members may be required to use certain texts and meet certain parameters set by the Public Leadership program and will be required to be on campus for face-to-face and hybrid courses, as well as office hours.
