| The Department of Family and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine is seeking to hire an Assistant Professor to join our team and help teach and mentor Doctor of Osteopathy medical students and residents. Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to: Teaching and mentoring of medical students. Resident supervision with our ACGME approved Residency Programs in Family Medicine and Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine (ONMM) Ambulatory patient care. Academic Scholarly Activity and Research encouraged with protected academic time and minimal call. |

Adjunct faculty plans classes and implements and evaluates teaching/learning objectives and student learning outcomes. Adjunct faculty undertakes the divisional and professional responsibilities of a part-time faculty member, including office hours. The successful applicant will be expected to provide instruction for General Physics, Physics for non-science majors, Astronomy, and the associated labs. Most of these labs are offered in the afternoon or evenings. Instruction for science lecture courses (Earth Science, Environmental Science) for non-majors may also be possible. |

| The primary purpose of this position is to conduct research in the field of Catalysis Science (Heterogeneous) in the PI, Dr. Linxiao Chen’s group at UNT. The postdoctoral scientist will plan, execute, and analyze experiments involving the synthesis, spectroscopic characterization of heterogeneous catalysts, and catalytic reaction kinetics. |
