Oversees operations of multiple functional areas and works directly with staff for ongoing professional development and the implementation of new initiatives, and/or updated systems, policies, and processes. Advises students, parents, faculty and staff about departmental and university regulations. Requires discernment to resolve complex escalations and implement proactive solutions. |

| The Department of Medical Education at TCOM is seeking a teaching Pathologist at the rank of Assistant Professor, non-tenured. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the education and mentorship of Doctor of Osteopathy medical students and residents within an integrated, student-centered curriculum.
The successful candidate will provide consistent, longitudinal instruction in pathology across the medical curriculum while leading curriculum development efforts, including content updates and assessment design, in collaboration with course directors. The role also involves strengthening the integration of pathology within system-based courses and supporting improved student outcomes, including preparation for board examinations. In addition, the candidate will participate in faculty development initiatives, contribute to institutional educational efforts, and mentor and advise medical students and residents. |
