Program Director and Lecturer Emergency Services Administration	Dallas
The successful candidate (Program Director) will be expected to lead the day-to-day operations and activities of the new UNT Dallas National ESA program and teach the equivalent of 2 courses per semester. The Director will recruit and further develop the ESA program as a national program which became a standalone major in the Fall of 2026. In particular, the candidate will be responsible for the hiring and evaluation of adjuncts for the ESA program along with student advisement for both current and matriculating students. The Program Director will be expected to network with Federal, State, and local partners to build a strong rapport and reputation for academic excellence in the program in Texas and beyond. In addition, the Program Director will interface with first responder and community partners including but not limited to community colleges, high schools, and first- responder agencies throughout Texas and the nation. We seek two outstanding, broadly-trained anatomists whose research programs will complement our existing strengths in biological anthropology, evolutionary biology, forensic sciences, biomechanics/functional morphology, and histology. While the research area is open, applicants with programs in postcranial biomechanics are particularly encouraged to apply. Research laboratory space and competitive start-up funds are available. The Center encompasses 8,000-square-feet of anatomy laboratories that support anatomical education, research, and outreach. The Center also houses dedicated research laboratories equipped for medical imaging analysis/morphometrics, forensic anthropology, thermoregulatory studies (environmental chamber), histology, and paleontological fossil preparation.
