The Career Center at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire a Career Coach (Student Services Coordinator) to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include: Lead efforts toward planning and implementing career development and job search programs and services working with students, faculty and staff in the College of Education (CoE). This includes but is not limited to individual advising, group workshops, presentations, and facilitating classes/courses. Interface with students at all degree levels and alumni in assigned academic/programmatic areas. * Analyze student’s career paths, initiate career assessments, and provide advice. * Develop and conduct workshops, assess their effectiveness, and implement changes needed to engage students. * Develop ongoing relationships and work cooperatively with faculty and administration in assigned areas. * Manage the assessment of career programs and services and deliver reports to their supervisor. * Lead job market research efforts for their assigned area, to provide current and relevant data to faculty and students. Work directly with student organizations in making connections to corporate speakers/mentors. * Provide marketing career services to the students and faculty in the assigned department. Assist with and support employer development and relations within the College of Education. Provide assistance to other units in the Career Center and perform other duties as assigned for optimal operational success of the Career Center.
Deputy Fire Marshal	Denton
This position assists the Fire Marshal in the day-to-day operation of the Fire Marshal’s Office. The Deputy Fire Marshal represents the department in development and design meetings, assists in technical and specialized plan review, fire inspections, fire systems testing, code consulting and MEP inspections to ensure code and installation compliance with life safety and building codes and standards.

The Center for Anatomical Sciences at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, TX invites applications for two Postdoctoral Associate positions. These two positions will combine team-taught instruction of dissection-based gross anatomy to medical students with faculty-mentored research. Applicants are encouraged to contact at least two current anatomy faculty members to discuss potential research collaborations (e.g., Drs. Elizabeth Cho, Rebecca Cook, Graci Finco, Lauren Gonzales, Kate Lesciotto, Scott Maddux, Rachel Menegaz, and Bern Perchalski). Research strengths in the Center for Anatomical Sciences include biological anthropology, evolutionary biology, forensic sciences, biomechanics/functional morphology, and histology. The Center encompasses 8,000-square-feet of anatomy laboratories that support anatomical education, research, and outreach. The Center also houses dedicated research laboratories equipped for medical imaging analysis/morphometrics, forensic anthropology, thermoregulatory studies (environmental chamber), histology, and paleontological fossil preparation.
