The Associate Dean of the School of Mathematics & Science Foundations (SMSF) will serve as the executive leader of the new school. Reporting directly to the College of Science Dean, the Associate Dean will play a crucial role in developing and guiding SMSF as it becomes a key component of UNT’s efforts to improve student academic success and career outcomes in STEM-related areas.

The Senior Administrative Associate is responsible for providing administrative support in order to ensure that customer service is provided in an effective and efficient manner. This position is responsible for receptionist duties which includes welcoming and directing visitors (e.g. students, faculty, staff, attorneys and judges, donors, university officials, elected officials, and others) by greeting them in person or on the telephone, and for answering or referring inquiries. Responsible for routine administrative support that includes inventory, developing/creating correspondence, account reconciliation, event scheduling, purchasing, data collection, meeting logistics and travel vouchers. Position duties require some independent judgment and decision-making; resolves routine questions where problems have occurred before and their solutions generally are familiar; and refers more complex issues to higher levels.

The UNT Dallas Police Department is responsible for providing law enforcement and security services for the University of North Texas at Dallas Main Campus and The College of Law. Police Officers must exercise good judgment and discretion in dealing with violators of laws and University regulations. Police Officers may be required to work special assignments, special events or be on call. Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to: Conducts regular patrols inside and outside of buildings, parking lots, and around the campus grounds to watch for criminal activity, unsecured buildings, fires, and any other unusual conditions or irregularities. Investigates reports of criminal behavior and university regulations. Arrests violators and files appropriate charges where and when such action is appropriate. Issues citations for parking and traffic violations. conducts traffic accident investigations. Prepare written and oral reports on completed investigative activities and calls. Testifies in criminal/civil court, administrative hearings, and other required venues. Enforces traffic laws and directs traffic upon area public streets. Protects lives and property. Perform other duties as directed by the Chief of Police or police supervisory personnel. Observes safety and security measures appropriate to work performed and work supervised. The primary purpose of this role is to deliver high-quality, evidence-based sports medicine services, and reduce injury.
Event Support Specialist Denton
The event support specialist oversees parttime staging assistants and is directly responsible for setting open lounge spaces, meeting rooms and large multifunction ballroom spaces; and performing minor custodial duties as needed. Tasks are in coordination with the event scheduling staff and supervised directly by the Director. Please do not apply for this position if you are not willing to pose without clothing. Figure models will pose for beginner to advanced art classes in drawing and painting. Classes are 2 hours and 50 minutes long. The typical length of pose ranges from 1 minute to 20 minutes with breaks for longer poses. Figure Painting class may require longer poses but breaks are given for model and students. No experience is required; the faculty will give clear training/instructions.
