The adjunct faculty member will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in one or more of the following subject areas:
• Buying
• Excel
• Trend analysis and forecasting
• Consumer behavior
• Global sourcing
• Styling
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Teach assigned undergraduate or graduate courses using effective teaching methodologies that engage students in active learning.
2. Foster a supportive learning environment, providing students with constructive feedback and guidance on course content.
3. Monitor student progress through assignments, exams, and projects, ensuring fair and timely grading.
4. Provide availability outside of class to support student learning and professional development by maintaining office hours.
5. Adhere to institutional policies, academic integrity guidelines, and confidentiality requirements.
Successful candidates should have expertise in one or more of the listed subject areas, along with relevant academic and/or industry experience. A master’s degree in a related field is typically required, though significant professional experience may also be considered. |
