| The UNT Health Clinical Practice Group Risk Manager is responsible for administering and directing operational aspects of the clinical practices risk management program, with a focus on professional liability. This includes claims analysis, insurance portfolio oversight, and proactive risk identification and prevention across the clinical enterprise.
The role also includes the supervision of the Medical Records team and the release of records process. The UNT Health Clinical Practice Group Risk Manager is actively involved in developing and implementing procedures for operational efficiency and maintaining an effective collaboration with legal counsel, UNT System partners, clinical practice administration, clinicians, and insurance partners to mitigate exposure and ensure compliance. |
