Priest Center for Community College Education, they will also have an impact on community college education through strategic engagement with schools across the state of Texas and various national organizations.

The University of North Texas Health (UNTH) seeks an innovative and collaborative leader to serve as Chair of the Department of Public Health and Health Administration within the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine (TCOM). The Department includes graduate programs in Public Health and Health Administration and is responsible for advancing excellence in education, scholarship, service, and community engagement. The Chair will provide strategic leadership for a newly organized department created through institutional restructuring and will play a key role in integrating public health principles throughout TCOM's educational, research, and clinical missions. The successful candidate will foster collaboration among faculty, staff, students, and institutional partners while supporting interdisciplinary initiatives across osteopathic medicine, physician assistant studies, public health, health administration, and related health professions program.

Assist university departments in all facets of the budgetary process. Preparation of annual budgets, monitoring and managing of current year budgets and close out at year end. Processing personnel authorization information as it impacts the university's budget and fund sources. Additional duties include; preparation of reports, research and assessment of budget issues, training, and providing guidance on budget matters to campus community.

The Writing Assistant will work closely with the Writing Coordinator to provide constructive feedback on student writing submissions, assist with writing support initiatives, and help develop supplemental learning materials. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in writing, editing, and academic coaching, particularly in health sciences or graduate-level education. The selected candidate will establish a flexible schedule each semester based on need and availability. For FERPA compliance, all student appointments must take place in a private location to ensure confidentiality and protect student information.

The position will be for assisting a postdoctoral research associate in the lab on research experiments for a specific NIH-funded project. The recruited personnel will need to have good level of understanding of the concepts behind the research project as well as basic laboratory skills. This would best be satisfied for a person who has completed their thesis-based Master's degree, with relevant research skills. The aim is to also provide the personnel with the opportunity to continue as a PhD student in the department's new PhD program. This personnel is needed to successfully execute the aims laid out in the project proposal.
