Faculty Project Coordinator for Mathematics Developmental Education Dallas
The Faculty Project Coordinator will serve to administer the Academic Summer Bridge program under the supervision of the Office of the Provost. This employee will have the rank of Lecturer, teach boot camps as a part of the Summer Bridge program during the summer, and teach three courses each fall and spring semester in the Department of Mathematics. In addition, the employee will develop and assess the curriculum for mathematics developmental education.

Research Assistant Denton
The Alonso Lab in the UNT BioDiscovery Institute is looking for a Research Assistant to help on a project aiming to improve oil content in a promising industrial oilseed crop, Phys aria fendleri (aka Lesquerella). More specifically, the employee will work within a team of 3-4 members and will be responsible for growing Lesquerella plants, daily hand-pollination and tagging of new flowers, collecting embryos, and perform sterile embryo cultures. Additionally, the candidate will assist with biomass extraction and analysis. This work is part of a project funded by the US Department of Agriculture.

The University of North Texas at Dallas invites applications for the position of Police Officer II .Perform all duties normally associated with employment as a licensed police officer; including, preventive patrol, arrest, search seizure, traffic enforcement, crash investigation, public safety and service, investigation of criminal incidents, and maintaining public order on the university campus and surrounding area. Work involves patrolling day and night all campus areas, buildings and parking lots. Police Officers must exercise good judgment and discretion in dealing with violators of laws and University regulations. Police Officers may be required to work special assignments, special events or be on call.Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to: Conducts regular patrols inside and outside of buildings, parking lots, and around the campus grounds to watch for criminal activity, unsecured buildings, fires, and any other unusual conditions or irregularities. Investigates reports of criminal behavior and university regulations. Arrests violators and files appropriate charges where and when such action is appropriate. Issues citations for parking and traffic violations. Conducts traffic accident investigations. Prepares written and oral reports on completed investigative activities and calls. Testifies in criminal/civil court, administrative hearings and other required venues. Enforces traffic laws and directs traffic upon area public streets. Protects lives and property. Performs other duties as directed by the Chief of Police or police supervisory personnel. Observes safety and security measures appropriate to work performed and work supervised.
