History Adjunct Instructor Pool AY 26-27 Dallas
The University of North Texas at Dallas invites applications for the position of History Adjunct Instructor for the 2026-2027 academic year. The successful candidate will be expected to achieve excellence in teaching and to assist in further development of the UNT Dallas History program. Biology Adjunct Instructor Pool AY 2026-2027 Dallas
Adjunct faculty plans classes and implements and evaluates teaching/learning objectives and student learning outcomes. Adjunct faculty undertakes the divisional and professional responsibilities of a part-time faculty member, including office hours. The successful applicant will be expected to provide instruction for General Biology and upper level Biology courses and the associated labs (e.g. Microbiology and the associated lab). Most of these labs are offered in the afternoon or evenings. Instruction for science lecture courses (Earth Science, Environmental Science) for non-majors may also be possible.
Chemistry Adjunct Instructor Pool AY 2026-2027 Dallas
Adjunct faculty plans classes and implements and evaluates teaching/learning objectives and student learning outcomes. Adjunct faculty undertakes the divisional and professional responsibilities of a part-time faculty member, including office hours. The successful applicant will be expected to provide instruction for General Chemistry, Chemistry for non-science majors, and the associated labs. Most of these labs are offered in the afternoon or evenings. Instruction for science lecture courses (Earth Science, Environmental Science) for non-majors may also be possible.

The Department of World Languages, Literatures and Cultures seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct Instructor pool and welcomes applicants at any time. This posting is for the Fall 2026, Spring 2027 and Summer 2027 semesters.
Political Science Adjunct Instructor Pool, AY 2026-2027 Dallas
Adjunct faculty plans classes and implements and evaluates teaching/learning objectives and student learning outcomes in conjunction with the Program Coordinator. Adjunct faculty undertakes the divisional and professional responsibilities of a part-time faculty member, including office hours. The successful applicant will be expected to provide instruction for lower-division Political Science courses, including American Government I (National), American Government II (state), Introduction to Political Science, Introduction to Public Policy, and various other political science courses. Most courses are offered in the afternoons and evenings. Adjunct faculty members may be required to use certain texts and meet certain parameters set by the Department of History and Political Science. Adjunct instructors will also be required to include, in their courses, certain student assessment measures determined by the department, and to compile data on those assessment criteria.
