| The Educational Program Assistant Director will implement and maintain programs, courses, training, and activities for student, faculty, and other trainees. This function focuses on the planning, development, facilitation, implementation, evaluation and administration of a wide variety of educational programs and initiatives to increase and enhance continues educational learning. Also, entails developing and implementing organizational and employee development strategies and interventions which may include developing courses, developing broad range programs to meet the needs of a diverse population, managing training and organizational development programs, contracting services and developing budgets. Typically allocates and coordinates work of administrative support staff within the team/project, or as a purely technical or professional role, the job has an advisory role and/or influence over the direction of an education program. This individual will collaborate with program leads and faculty to ensure that the course aligns with institutional learning objectives, accreditation standards, and best practices in medical education. |

This position performs all duties normally associated with employment as licensed police officer, including, preventive patrol, arrest, search seizure, traffic enforcement, crash investigation, public safety and service, investigation of criminal incidents, and maintaining public order on the university campus and surrounding area. Work involves patrolling day and night all campus areas, buildings and parking lots. The UNT Dallas Police Department is responsible for providing law enforcement and security services for the University of North Texas at Dallas Main Campus and The College of Law. Police Officers must exercise good judgment and discretion in dealing with violators of laws and University regulations. Police Officers may be required to work special assignments, special events or be on call. Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to: Conducts regular patrols inside and outside of buildings, parking lots, and around the campus grounds to watch for criminal activity, unsecured buildings, fires, and any other unusual conditions or irregularities. Investigates reports of criminal behavior and university regulations. Arrests violators and files appropriate charges where and when such action is appropriate. Issues citations for parking and traffic violations. conducts traffic accident investigations. Prepare written and oral reports on completed investigative activities and calls. Testifies in criminal/civil court, administrative hearings, and other required venues. Enforces traffic laws and directs traffic upon area public streets. Protects lives and property. Perform other duties as directed by the Chief of Police or police supervisory personnel. Observes safety and security measures appropriate to work performed and work supervised. The primary purpose of this role is to deliver high-quality, evidence-based sports medicine services, and reduce injury. |
