Adjunct Assistant - Biology Denton
The Department of Biological Sciences seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct Assistant pool and welcomes applicants at any time. This posting is for the Fall 2025, Spring 2026, and Summer 2026 semesters. The specific laboratory courses available vary from semester to semester and openings to lead these labs develop on a periodic basis, depending upon department needs, sufficient student enrollment, and dean approval. Adjunct Assistants lead labs under the direction of an Instructional Lab Supervisor or faculty. Lab courses may include, but are not limited to, Human Anatomy & Physiology, Environmental Science, General Biology, Physical Anthropology & Human Evolution, Parasitology, Immunology, Genetics, Cell Biology, Animal Physiology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Forensic (polarized light) Microscopy, and Forensic Molecular Biology. *Note, this position includes locations in Denton, Frisco and Online.
Adjunct Instructor - German Denton
Adjunct faculty teach beginning and intermediate German courses. Faculty in this position work closely with the German section coordinator to ensure they are teaching in alignment with department expectations. Adjunct faculty are required to hold one hour of office hours per week for each course taught.
Postdoctoral Research Associate | Spectroscopy and Materials Synthesize Denton
The Physics Department at the University of North Texas seeks a postdoctoral researcher in spectroscopy and materials synthesize. The research activity will focus on developing and characterizing emerging materials for solar applications. The position will also work on developing novel spectrometers and characterizing materials electrooptical properties in the visible to the Terahertz range.

The specific courses involved may vary from semester to semester and openings to teach these courses develop on a periodic basis, depending on department teaching needs.
Faculty Adjunct Assistant-Spring 2025 Dallas, Downtown Dallas
The appointment will be as Faculty Assistant/Adjunct Faculty to assist in teaching Client Interviewing and Counseling and/or Negotiation and Conflict Management by leading small groups of students through interviewing or negotiation simulations. Classes will be delivered in person at the UNT Dallas College of Law downtown location. Client Interviewing and Counseling sessions will meet on Thursday afternoons from 2:30-4:30 pm on starting near the end of January and concluding in late April for approximately 10 session. Negotiation and Conflict Management will meet on Wednesday nights from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm starting around the end of January and concluding at the end of April for approximately 10 sessions. Adjunct Faculty will work in pairs to lead/coach small groups of students through either interviewing simulations or negotiation simulations that are created and/or provided by the Assistant Professor of the Course. Adjunct Professors do not create/design any aspect of the course but are responsible for grading the simulations and coaching the students. Multiple positions may be are available for both time frames, although there are considerably more slots for the Client Interviewing and Counseling course. While preferences for courses will be considered, depending on student enrollment and the number of returning Adjunct Faculty, the number of available positions may be limited.
