The Assistant Dean for Nursing Extended Campus at the UNTHSC College of Nursing provides strategic leadership, operational oversight, and academic support of the nursing programs offered at the UNT Dallas Campus, 7300 University Hills Blvd, Dallas, TX 75241. Administrative functions include, curriculum implementation, academic integrity, student success, budget and resource stewardship, developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and alignment with the UNTHSC College of Nursing mission, vision, and strategic priorities. This role will also have a faculty appointment with up to 50% teaching responsibilities. The Assistant Dean for the UNT Dallas extended campus serves as a liaison between the Dean and extended site faculty, staff and students, and community stakeholders.
The Assistant Dean must possess excellent interpersonal skills including strong communication skills, and effectiveness in establishing consensus-driven decision-making processes. The Assistant Dean shall demonstrate strong professional integrity, a reputation for fairness and flexibility, a commitment to expanding the nursing profession, and alignment with the UNTHSC values and College of Nursing Mission and Vision. |
