Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to: Acts as Departmental Outreach Personnel on Social Media Accounts and during summer camps. Assist and support departmental accreditation efforts. Prepares, formats and posts monthly newsletter. Communicates with Industrial Advisory Board members. Communicates and assists with student scholarship and outstanding student awards. Assists with data reporting. Provides administrative support to chair, faculty, and other administrative staff. Completes department travel processing and purchasing, as needed. Completes other duties as assigned. |

| This position will assist with coordinating and supervising the clinical operations for UNTHSC Comprehensive Medical Services. The incumbent may also assist with coordinating and supervising contracts with the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) and other Correctional Medicine Department-assigned projects and contracts.
The Clinical Operations Specialist will be assigned to provide clinical and/or administrative support for UNTHSC’s Comprehensive Medical Services Contract with the Federal Medical Center (FMC) Carswell and Federal Medical Center (FMC) Fort Worth to help meet our contract performance requirements, improve, and/or enhance the contractual relationship between UNTHSC and the BOP |
