| The UNT Kristin Farmer Autism Center (KFAC) is seeking a full-time Behavior Technician to join our dedicated team in providing exceptional clinical services to young children on the autism spectrum. The primary responsibility of the Behavior Technician will be to provide direct intervention and instructional programs for 5-7 young children with autism, utilizing evidence-based interventions. The position will be supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The Behavior Technician is responsible for collecting data, conducting assessments, implementing skill acquisition and behavior reduction procedures, and documenting and reporting outcomes. This position is also responsible for providing peer-support to part-time Behavior Technicians, typically undergraduate and graduate students in related degree programs at UNT. The Student Services Coordinator working with Orientation and Pre-College Programs is expected to implement transitional programs during the academic year and summer to connect prospective students to the university community, employ a variety of communication strategies to inform high school students and administrators of events and processes, and provide a welcoming environment to all guests to UNT. This role collaborates closely with the coordinator of Orientation and First Year Programs to successfully implement new student orientation processes along side the Assistant Director and Executive Director. |
