Adjunct Faculty Assistant: Spring 2026	Dallas
The appointment will be as Adjunct Faculty Assistant/Adjunct Faculty to assist in teaching Negotiation and Conflict Management by leading small groups of students through interviewing or negotiation simulations. Classes will be delivered in person at the UNT Dallas College of Law downtown location. Negotiation Simulation sessions will meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 to 8:00 pm starting around the first week of February and ending toward the end of April, 2026. for approximately 10sessions. Adjunct Faculty will work in pairs to lead/coach small groups of students through either interviewing simulations or negotiation simulations that are created and/or provided by the Assistant Professor of the Course. Adjunct Professors do not create/design any aspect of the course but are responsible for grading the simulations and coaching the students. Multiple positions are available. While preferences for courses will be considered, depending on student enrollment and the number of returning Adjunct Faculty, the number of available positions may be limited. Because these classes contribute to student engagement/networking in the North Texas legal community all applicants must live in and practice law in the North Texas area. Adjunct Professors may be retired from the practice of law if they still live in the North Texas area. Further, all Faculty Assistants/Adjunct Faculty are required to complete all training required of employees of UNT Dallas College of Law.

Expectations for Lecturers at UNTD include excellent teaching, and service, resulting in contributions equivalent to a four-course load each semester. This workload expectation can be fulfilled through a combination of teaching, service, and program development. Faculty are also expected to participate in such service activities as curriculum development, student recruiting and advising, program assessment, and committee leadership. The ideal candidate will be committed to advancing UNT Dallas’s Classroom to Career initiative—an innovative effort that bridges academic achievement and career readiness. This includes strengthening industry partnerships, embedding experiential learning (such as internships, research, and service learning) into the curriculum, integrating career and character competencies, and fostering AI fluency and essential power skills like communication, adaptability, teamwork, and leadership. The candidate should also support the development of new academic programs aligned with workforce needs and pathways to family-sustaining careers.

Please do not apply for this position if you are not willing to pose without clothing. Figure models will pose for beginner to advanced art classes in drawing and painting. Classes are 2 hours and 50 minutes long. The typical length of pose ranges from 1 minute to 20 minutes with breaks for longer poses. Figure Painting class may require longer poses but breaks are given for model and students. No experience is required; the faculty will give clear training/instructions.
