James City County Parks & Recreation seeks high energy individuals to plan, execute, and instruct sports and/or outdoor recreation classes, camps, trips or other programs for youth and/or adults, on an as-needed basis; year-round and seasonal available. Specifically looking for individuals with experience in a variety of sports and/or outdoor skills (camping, outdoor cookery, hiking, etc.) and water-based adventures (kayaking, canoeing, etc.) for various ages and abilities. Outdoor instructors should be comfortable with adventure-based activities and/or trips. Should feel comfortable leading programs with little to no supervision. |

James City County Grounds Maintenance Division is hiring multiple Full Time Landscape Maintenance Workers in the following sections: athletic field maintenance, park landscaping, and stormwater facility maintenance.
Our Landscape Maintenance employees work as a team to perform tasks related to the proper appearance of grounds for various facilities throughout the County. Responsible for general landscape maintenance practices and procedures including work in grass cutting, repairing turf, pruning of trees and shrubs, applying horticultural chemicals, and securing areas for public safety in emergencies.
