This position plays a critical role in supporting campus safety operations by answering emergency and non-emergency calls for service, coordinating law enforcement communications, and dispatching police personnel. Communications Officers also coordinate fire and EMS response through the local emergency communications center, assist with monitoring public safety systems, and serve as the first point of contact for visitors to the Department of Public Safety. |
