The Airport Security Supervisor ensures that the airport complies with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) approved Airport Security Plan, as well as the TSA-mandated rules and regulations. This includes reviewing all security-related functions to ensure adherence to 49 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 1542, its security program, and any applicable security directives. The supervisor also initiates corrective actions for any instances of non-compliance with the airport’s security program and applicable security directives. |

The SMS Manager organizes safety promotion events, facilitates risk management assessments, and investigates the root causes of incidents and accidents to improve operational safety. Additionally, the SMS Manager oversees the performance of the Safety Management System (SMS) program, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations while collaborating with airport operations, maintenance, and security teams. The SMS manager will be required to support Airport Operations in times of no shift coverage. |
