Under the Supervision of the Recreation Community Inclusion Coordinator, the Recreation Leader Supervisor will perform duties pertaining to the operations of the Recreation Programs and working with vulnerable populations, including the safety and welfare of children 5 yrs. to 17 years of age. Monitoring of staff hours, oversight of programming and scheduled activities as well as ensuring the safety of participants and the public. An employee of this class may be required to perform a variety of administrative and record keeping duties and have extensive public contact. They may also be required to do some janitorial work, set up and take down related to the operation of the Recreation Programs. |

310 - Emergency Communications Operator

The purpose of the class is to assist in emergencies by providing communications support and to dispatch emergency personnel in response to requests. The class is responsible for answering and monitoring emergency phone calls; collecting, entering, and relaying accurate and detailed information; dispatching emergency personnel; maintaining emergency reference materials. Maintaining logs and tapes, and maintaining equipment. The class works according to specific procedures; decides how and when to do things under general supervision. |
418 - EQUIPMENT OPERATOR I

The Equipment Operator I is responsible for operating equipment necessary in the maintenance repair and upkeep of streets and roadways, right of way, grounds, repairing cave-ins, drains and other related maintenance tasks. Operates specialized equipment, machinery or vehicles such as heavy construction vehicles, trucks with hydraulic pumping equipment, pressure sprayers, paving equipment, jackhammers, backhoes or cranes and other related tasks as necessary. The employee works according to set procedures under direct supervision and strictly adheres to all applicable state and local laws, regulations, safety rules, departmental policies, and procedures. |

The employee is responsible for providing safe, dependable, and on-time transportation services to the public in a courteous and friendly manner.
