The Opportunity

We are looking an experienced Transport Coordinator to join our team and coordinate the day-to-day movement of trailers across our operations.

This is a hands-on coordination role where you’ll work closely with drivers and internal teams to ensure loads are configured, scheduled and dispatched safely and on time.

This role operates Monday to Friday, 4:00am – 1:00pm, with a requirement to work every fourth Saturday.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule Southwest transport operations to ensure the smooth and timely delivery of trailers
• Configure freezer and chiller loads for collection and delivery across multiple Perth locations
• Coordinate drivers and trailers to ensure timely departures and compliance with booked time slots
• Monitor transport movements and proactively address operational issues
• Maintain accurate transport records and update relevant tracking and processing systems
• Work closely with drivers and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient daily operations
• Identify and resolve scheduling and operational issues as they arise

Skills and Experience

We’re looking for someone who is organised, solutions-focused and thrives in a fast-paced transport environment.

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience in a similar transport coordination or scheduling role
• Experience within the transport and logistics industry is highly desirable
• Knowledge of Transport Management Systems (TMS) is desirable
• Experience using tracking, processing and scheduling systems
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• The ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities
