Advanced Mental Health Resident VCU Main Campus
Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) University Counseling Services (UCS) invites applications for one, one-year, full time, Advanced Mental Health Resident. This position will be housed at the Monroe Park Campus office location and may involve some evening hours. This position entails working with undergraduate, graduate, and health professional students. We are a dynamic center committed to promoting diversity and inclusion and invite applicants who share similar values. General duties include initial assessments, brief individual therapy, group therapy, crisis work, and consultation with university faculty and staff. Additional duties may include provision of supervision and outreach. Supervision by a licensed senior staff professional will be provided. IACUC Operations Manager MCV Main Campus
The Animal Care and Use Program Operations Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC), ensuring compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations governing the humane care and use of animals in research. Key responsibilities include: 1. Supervising IACUC administrative staff. 2. Overseeing the protocol submission process, managing protocol reviews (and serving as a backup when needed), and acting as a liaison between researchers and IACUC reviewers. 3. Driving process improvements by collaborating with the IACUC administrative staff to manage and evaluate change requests. 4. Overseeing the operations related to program reviews and facility inspections. 5. Managing and overseeing the administration of training programs.

The candidate will have the ability to engage in translational molecular research imaging at our new facility to include state-of-the-art research scanners and equipment. The successful candidate will have experience in imaging safety, research protocols, and patient care and monitoring in a radiology environment. The Clinical Research Nurse will provide all research study coordination and pre-scanning activities for the care of the research participant being seen by the Imaging Center.
