| Organizes, leads, instructs, plans, schedules, and directs a team of skilled and semi-skilled multi-craft trades
Sets and communicates expectations related to the unit's goals and objectives
Provides constructive feedback and training to ensure that team members have the necessary knowledge and skills to achieve these goals
Manages performance in accordance with university policies and guidelines- including recruiting, discipline, evaluations, and employee work profiles
Plays a critical role in planning and coordinating the work of multiple trades to ensure high-quality performance and exceptional customer service, all while optimizing the efficiency and effectiveness of operations within the zone
Provides direction to the trades team and establishes key performance indicators and metrics, and the supervisor consistently develops, utilizes, and completes reports and queries, including workload management, using a computer maintenance management system (AiM)
Plays a critical role in planning and coordinating the work of multiple trades to ensure high-quality performance and exceptional customer service, all while optimizing the efficiency and effectiveness of operations within the zone |
