The major role of this position is to assist with the financial administration of departmental, sponsored awards, and foundation funds. In doing so, you will assist with organization, management, and reporting of financial activity. You will work with your supervisor to provide accurate financial statements for various departments. Other duties will be to assist with the creation of corrective paperwork, employee action requests, billing, requisitions, data entry, and monthly reconciliation. You will also attend Business Office Staff Meetings, serve as a backup to the business office team, and ensure that all financial activities are in accordance with federal, state, university, college, and sponsor policies and procedures.
