Institutional Programs & Student Success Coordinator -2063 Langston
The Institutional Programs and Student Success Coordinator will work closely with and reports directly to the Dean, Sherman Lewis School of Agriculture and Applied Sciences (SL/SAAS).   Responsibilities will range from projects in all Land-Grant mission areas, ranging from coordinating 1890 Scholarship program; support and coordinate workforce development and student research programs; support student recruitment/retention/student advisement; support partnership initiatives with stakeholders. Additionally, responsibilities include assisting the Dean coordinate various reports to funding agencies, implementation of Land-Grant policies; tracking capital inventory and assist with coordinating operations across academic, research and extension missions of SL/SAAS.  The employee will research and analyze strategic choices for growth and make recommendations to the Dean that will achieve goals and objectives of SL/SAAS.  The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is highly motivated, enjoys working with various categories of stakeholders, energetic and endeavors to be an advocate for students, people and communities.
Chemical Hygiene Officer Stillwater
The Chemical Hygiene Officer (CHO) manages the university's chemical hygiene and chemical safety programs as required under OSHA, DOT, federal, state, and local regulations and is responsible for laboratory surveys and the OSHA Laboratory Standard Chemical Hygiene Plan program. The CHO coordinates or assists in the coordination of Environmental Health & Safety training programs, including bloodborne pathogen, managing chemicals in the workplace, hazardous materials, and chemical shipping programs. The position will serve on the Institutional Biological and Chemical Safety Committee (IBC). The position will also be the chemical/industrial hygiene/toxicology specialist and will do protocol chemical risk assessments. The CHO will manage the chemical inventory database system. The position also provides support to the Occupational Safety Program, Environmental Compliance Program, and Occupational Health Program.
