ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES:
The successful candidate will be an integral part of the research and extension programs. He/she will serve in the extension and research programs and conduct applied research with primary focus on unique aspects of goats and hair sheep production and management. The candidate will be expected to be in contact with leaders in the small ruminant industry and conduct workshops in various areas of animal production and management. He/she will collaborate with other scientists on research of interest. The candidate is expected to be familiar with parasites of 2 sheep and goats and participate in the American Consortium for Small Ruminant Parasites. Teaching assignments in area of specialization will be available periodically. |
