Student Library Assistant (Fall)

| This position will be working in the ‘Description and Access’ department, located at the Library Service Center southeast of campus. Workers in this position will primarily work in our Marking Unit preparing materials for circulation in the University Libraries’ stacks, and will perform other clerical duties as needed. Hands-on training will be provided in marking, library service platform usage, and other related computer hardware and software tasks.
Employees in this position will generally report to work at an off-campus location – the Library Service Center at 2601 Technology Place in Norman (southeast of campus, near the intersection of Highway 9 and 24th Ave SE). There are occasions when shifts will be on campus at Bizzell Memorial Library or other campus branch locations. Please note that transportation will not be provided and EMBARK does not offer a bus stop near the Library Service Center. However, parking permits are not required at the Library Service Center. |
