Community Outreach Coordinator Tulsa
Join the National Resource Center for Youth Services (NRCYS) at the University of Oklahoma (College of Continuing Education/Outreach) and be part of a team dedicated to improving the effectiveness of human services through training, consultation, and technical assistance in Oklahoma and across the nation for over 50 years. NRCYS is a leader in youth service philosophy, best practices, and youth engagement. This position supports the Oklahoma Successful Adulthood program (OKSA). It assists eligible current and former foster youth¿s transition into adulthood through various services, including individualized assistance and connection to statewide resources and services. The Community Outreach Coordinator provides specialized consultation to both young people and professionals, functioning as a subject matter expert in youth engagement, transition planning, life skills education, and statewide community resources. Our goal is to ensure that young people have the tools and resources needed for a successful transition to adulthood and are empowered to plan for their future outside of foster care. This position will have a role in partnerships with community organizations and housing authorities to develop housing pathways. The ideal candidate will need to possess a positive attitude, be customer service-oriented, have strong communication and organizational skills, and enjoy talking to people daily.
Student Video Manager, Oklahoma Football (Fall) Norman
Student Video Managers assist with daily video operations for the Oklahoma Football team. Responsibilities include filming practices and games, setting up and maintaining equipment, and supporting the organization of instructional video content for the coaching staff. Training is provided. Housekeeper Supervisor Norman
Responsible for supervising a group of housekeeping workers and performing a variety of housekeeping tasks. Exercises some discretion while following established standards. Representative Duties: Directs and inspects work of housekeeping employees. Supervises housekeeping crews on special jobs such as waxing and window washing. Provides procedure orientation and training for new housekeeping employees. Performs housekeeping tasks, to include make readies, in addition to performing minor maintenance and repairs on floor care equipment. Contacts with others are of a routine natureRelieves housekeepers as needed. Ensures that personnel supervised are informed of and adhere to health and safety practices associated with assigned tasks. Will complete clerical duties to include payroll, time and attendance reviews.Will complete essential human resources tasks to include interviewing, training, and positive discipline. Will serve in an on-call duty rotation. Will require some weekend shifts and required overtime work, scheduled in advance. May be designated as an " essential position" during emergency closures. May be required to remain on campus overnight during weather or other emergencies. Performs related duties as assigned.
Custodian / Housekeeper Norman
Performs routine cleaning in offices and public access areas within OU Residential communities. Tasks are precisely defined. REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES: Mops, sweeps, waxes, and polishes floors. Cleans and dusts furniture, equipment, etc. Locks and unlocks offices, classrooms, and conference areas. Contacts with others are of a routine nature. Collects and disposes of wastepaper and refuse. Vacuums carpeted areas where applicable. Maintains lavatories and rest rooms in a sanitary condition. May shovel snow from doorways and sidewalks. Performs related duties as assigned.
Golf Course Turf Specialist Norman
Performs golf course maintenance and other landscape duties on the golf course property. The golf course maintenance worker uses and operates golf course maintenance and/or landscaping tools and equipment as needed, to maintain golf course property and landscapes. Functions of the golf course maintenance worker are as follows: Mowing and maintaining of greens, tees, fairways, rough, native areas and any other areas as directed by his/her supervisor. Raking, trimming and maintaining of bunkers as directed by his/her supervisor. Hand-watering of turf areas as directed by his/her supervisor. Hand trimming/edging cart paths, curbs, trees, etc. as directed by his/her supervisor. Application of some pesticides and fertilizers under the direction and supervision of his/her supervisor. Operates and uses golf course maintenance equipment and tools correctly and safely as directed by his/her supervisor. Ensures that the assigned equipment being used is working at all times; refills fuel daily; cleans equipment daily; and reports equipment problems or failures to Equipment Manager immediately. Provides basic preventive maintenance on equipment as directed by the equipment manager or assistant superintendent and returns equipment to the designated location at the maintenance facility. Informs his/her supervisor of any issues. problems or failures on or around the golf course property immediately. Performs other duties essential to the operation as directed by his/her supervisor.
