OETT Student Technology Assistant (Fall)

| The Oklahoma Educational Technology Trust (OETT) is seeking a student worker to support day-to-day operations at the K20 Center. This position is split between hands-on technology management in our demonstration room and general administrative support for the OETT team.
Responsibilities
Technology Room
Set up, organize, and maintain equipment in the OETT technology demonstration room
Manage and maintain a device inventory including iPads, laptops, and Chromebooks
Operate and maintain specialized equipment including drones, robots, a 3D printer, a laser engraver, and video production gear
Catalogue devices and update records to keep inventory current
Troubleshoot basic technical issues and escalate as needed
Administrative Support
Assist with expense reporting and recordkeeping for the OETT team
Pack and prepare materials for professional development sessions held across Oklahoma
Perform printing, copying, cutting, laminating, and general office tasks
Support team organization and logistics as needed
Attend off-site meetings and events with the OETT team when available and appropriate |

Student Assistant - Sports Medicine (Fall)

Dealing with credit card, debit card, and cash transactions
Other clerical tasks as required. |

Ensure food, drinks, and other items are displayed professionally while maintaining food safety standards. Properly and safely measures, weighs and combines ingredients for quantity preparation of simple menu items. Adhere to food safety standards at all times, making sure that all food is free or contaminants and pathogens that might make customers sick. Follows up on requests with a sense of urgency. Maintains professional behavior and composure in difficult interpersonal situations. Communicates with co-workers and others in calm considerate manner. Provide efficient, friendly, and informative service following established customer service standards and departmental core purpose/core values. |

| NPS Indian Education is now hiring part time tutors to provide literacy tutoring to children ages 6-12. Orientation will be in late August / early September with tutoring sessions to begin after. Tutors will meet with 6-8 students, as schedule allows, who demonstrate below average reading scores and provide 30-minute tutoring sessions two times a week. Tutor sessions are scheduled on (Days TBD) with training on (Days TBD) as needed. Tutors will receive administrative support in developing lesson plans based on student needs and interests. Tutors will monitor student progress by completing memo sheets of each tutoring session.
Orientation will be provided to ensure tutors are comfortable with the curriculum being used. Additional training in various topics will be required throughout the semester. Ex. CPR/First Aid and how to recognize and report child abuse.

| OU IT is currently hiring the position of Services Specialist. This position provides customer support via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions in our Service Centers. Students in this role will troubleshoot minor issues, provide technical support, and communicate with various IT teams to resolve more technically advanced customer incidents. Students will also occasionally direct inbound calls across campus as the campus operator for Norman/OKC campuses.
Most shifts will take place between 8am-8pm CST, Monday through Friday. Some weekend shifts may be required. This position requires approximately one month of paid training. Due to the amount of time and effort that must be devoted to onboarding new employees, this position is not recommended for applicants who intend to work in the role for less than two academic semesters. Students hired for this position will be required to continue working with our team during most of the summer break and into the Fall semester. |
