The responsibilities for this position include assisting in the classroom where needed; engaging in highquality interaction with children and families; promoting children’s learning and development; supporting
the needs of children, families, and other staff at the ICD; helping to maintain classroom ratio; assisting
in providing a calm and positive learning environment for children, providing office assistance; aiding

May locks and unlock offices, classrooms, and conference areas
Contacts with others are of a routine nature
Collects and disposes of wastepaper and refuse
Vacuums carpeted areas where applicable
Maintains lavatories and rest rooms in a sanitary condition
