PEAK - Utility Maintenance Mechanic

| Join the University of Oklahoma as a Utility Maintenance Mechanic and play a vital role in keeping critical power plant equipment and utility systems operating safely and efficiently. In this hands-on position, you will perform inspections, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on chillers, cooling towers, transformers, pumps, valves, electrical panels, piping systems, compressors, and other large-scale mechanical and electrical equipment. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of experience repairing electrical instrumentation and large equipment such as boilers, generators, diesel engines, or chillers, and the ability to read schematics, troubleshoot AC/DC and high-voltage systems, and use hand and power tools. This non-exempt position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic industrial environment while contributing to the reliable operation of essential campus utilities. A valid driver's license, or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire, is required. |
