ICD Student Teacher Aide (Fall) Norman
OU’s Institute of Child Development (ICD) Laboratory Preschool is looking for part-time teacher aides. The responsibilities for this position include assisting in the classroom where needed; engaging in highquality interaction with children and families; promoting children’s learning and development; supporting the needs of children, families, and other staff at the ICD; helping to maintain classroom ratio; assisting in providing a calm and positive learning environment for children, providing office assistance; aiding with daily school operations (e.g., assisting with food preparation; giving teachers breaks, setting up classroom learning environments, doing laundry, cleaning, etc.). The hours may vary, but will likely be either a morning shift (8:30am - 12:30pm) or an afternoon shift (1:00pm - 5:00pm) Monday through Friday. This position will be for the Spring OU academic calendar. Must pass a comprehensive post-offer, pre-employment criminal and fingerprint background check, and a continued successful status will be verified by periodic future background checks.
