The field of electrical and computer engineering continues to evolve into an ever-broadening discipline that is rapidly reaching into more aspects of common everyday life. Given the current national academic climate where science, technology, engineering and mathematics majors are in short supply, it is of paramount importance that the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) continue its mission of educating and preparing the latest generation of fresh engineers through its established ABET accredited undergraduate programs, its growing accelerated master¿s program, and its traditional master¿s and doctoral programs. The primary responsibility of this position is to directly support prospective and current graduate students, and their engagement with faculty and alumni. This position has the responsibility to support and assist with graduate recruitment, student progress toward degree completion, retention, and graduation.
Temporary Employee - Group Fitness Instructor	Norman	3 Nov 2026
Using a variety of teaching and motivational techniques, this position will create a positive exercise experience. This position is a professional who teaches, leads, and motivates groups through intentionally designed exercise classes. They plan effective, exercise science-based group sessions for different fitness levels. They also possess a wealth of motivational and leadership techniques that help their classes achieve fitness goals. Instructors know the human body, the science of exercise, and how to inspire, challenge, and motivate change in the lives of the people they lead. This position is for employment beginning in the Fall 2026 semester. Training will begin immediately upon hire.

This position is a professional who leads and motivates small groups/individuals through intentionally designed, individualized training sessions. They plan effective, exercise science-based individual sessions for different fitness and experience levels. They also possess a wealth of motivational and leadership techniques that help individuals achieve fitness goals. Trainers know the human body, the science of exercise and how to inspire, challenge and motivate change in the lives of the people they lead. This position also assists with providing health education sessions to members and the OU community in-person or via Zoom. Training will begin immediately upon hire.
Staff Research Assistant	Oklahoma City	3 Nov 2026
The Dalebroux Lab is looking for a detail oriented, task driven Staff Research Assistant to join their team. Here, we employ techniques in bacteriology, biochemistry, molecular biology, eukaryotic cell culture and genetics to define the environmental signals that cue specific OMV production by Bacteroides and discern bacterial molecules within these OMVs that influence gut homeostasis and dysbiosis during health and disease as it relates to Cdif infection. This position will involve working with Biosafety Level 2 microbes that pose a moderate potential threat to personnel or the environment. Experience with maintaining a laboratory notebook, recording and summarizing experimental results, and communicating data, hypotheses, and experimental approaches is desired. The individual will work directly with the Principal Investigator in the lab to accomplish the primary research goals and to maintain Institution Biosafety standards.
Production, Casting, & Streaming Specialist (Fall)	Norman	11 Dec 2026
Producers, Casters, & Streamers of Esports and Co-Curricular Innovation The University of Oklahoma Division of Student Affairs is looking for undergraduate students who are located in the Norman area to serve as producers, shoutcasters, or streamers for Esports and Co-Curricular Innovation. Production members are responsible for participating in the organization and the execution of virtual and physical events for campus in need of on-site productions and maintaining a professional manner during the planning and execution of said events.
