Research Fellow/Research Manager Amherst
Under the supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI) and Senior Research Fellow/Project Director, the Research Project Manager will oversee day-to-day administration, coordination, and implementation of multiple federally funded research projects focused on improving health outcomes among justice-involved populations. These include: (1) a study examining continuity of care, Medicaid reentry policies, and an intervention to improve engagement in medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD) following release from incarceration; and (2) a study evaluating implementation of a multi-pronged intervention to improve HIV testing, prevention (PrEP), and linkage to care for individuals with opioid use disorder in jail and post-release settings.

The honors courses to be taught include an interdisciplinary freshman seminar, “Ideas That Change the World,” which is comprised of units on models of inquiry, social thought, science and technology, and the arts. Other honors courses may include those affiliated with residential academic programs, honors thesis seminar, and others with General Education designations.
