| The Utilities Mechanical Technical Specialist I (Dig Safe) receives and processes all requests for any excavation throughout the campus grounds. Serves as a primary contact for the University with Dig Safe headquarters, submits mapping of excavation (s), receives, records and communicates Dig Safe confirmation numbers to various groups throughout the campus, Dig Safe Headquarters, and to contractor(s). Maintains Dig Safe files and reports for the campus. Investigates and reports violations of Massachusetts Statute Chapter 82, Section 40 to appropriate authorities for action. Under general supervision, the Technical Specialist I performs skilled technical and mechanical duties to support operation, maintenance, and repair of campus Utility and Mechanical systems. |

| The Director of Finance leads the daily financial management, planning, and related data analysis activities for the Manning College of Information and Computer Sciences (CICS). The Director is directly responsible for the financial management of the College's $30 million operating budget and overall budget of $50 million spanning multiple fund types, including the annual operating budget, fiscal policies and procedures, efficiency and effectiveness of systems, long term forecasting, and fiscal compliance and control. The position also gathers, analyzes, and interprets financial data necessary for the assessment and continuous process improvement for all academic and operational areas within the College. The Director of Finance acts as an advisor and partner to the Dean and Associate Dean on all matters related to strategic and long-range financial planning for the College. |

| The Executive Director of Career & Professional Development manages the relationships with the College of Natural Sciences’ many employer partners, supervises a team of up to 8 staff members and approximately 15 Career Peer Advisors and Graduate Assistants, and is responsible for the development and execution of career and professional development services and programming for the College of Natural Sciences (CNS). |

Manager of Circulation & Information Services

| Reporting to the Associate Dean for Research and Learning, the Manager of the Circulation and Information Services Desks in the W.E.B. DuBois Library, supervises and coordinates the services provided by the unit. Services include information, technical, reference and circulation support. Information Services staff cover multiple shifts, including early morning, evenings and weekends, and some holidays. |

Associate Dean of Administration, Finance, & Operations

| Reporting directly to the Dean of the School of Public Health and Health Sciences, the Associate Dean for Administration, Finance and Operations provides critical organization, direction, analysis, delivery, management, and leadership in core services and takes steps to ensure that such services function effectively, efficiently, and in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements as well as University policies, practices, and procedures. Core services include but are not limited to financial planning and analysis, Academic HR, research administration and facilities. The Associate Dean provides executive-level work to analyze and address issues of organizational efficiency, guides SPHHS through strategic planning processes, and manages the implementation of action items through detailed and comprehensive knowledge of the structure, operation, strategies and objectives of the organization. The Associate Dean will directly supervise three director level positions (Academic HR, Finance, and Research Administration) and works collaboratively with the university’s Facilities, Human Resources, and Information Technology offices to coordinate, prioritize, and advance SPHHS projects and operational needs. |
