| The EFNEP Nutrition Educator delivers public education for UMass Extension Nutrition Education Program to improve healthy food and lifestyle choices among at-risk, limited resource families and individuals encompassing all age groups in various locations throughout the Western Region of Massachusetts with the main office location located in Springfield, MA.
This includes presenting a series of 8 to 10 lessons that focus on general nutrition, food preparation, food safety and food budgeting using approved curriculum materials in a variety of community settings. Recruitment of participants is also included as part of the workday. The individual will collect and manage participant data regarding knowledge, skills, attitudes, and behaviors; ensuring confidentiality at all times. |

| The Technical Assistant II (Landscaping) performs horticultural work on campus landscapes including planning out and monitoring the planting and maintenance of flowers, flowering shrubs, annual plants and perennial plants. Works under the supervision of the Maintenance Working Foreman and Head of Grounds, who prioritizes work and provides guidance on policies and procedures. This position is responsible for all technical maintenance aspects of the care and culture of campus, annuals, perennials and woody ornamentals. |

The Communications Manager will be part of a small team of communications professionals who support the college in the achievement of its vision, mission, and strategic goals, with an emphasis on raising the visibility of the college’s faculty and research activities and developing and sustaining an effective, unified message. |
