| The Assistant Director for the Accessibility Center (AC) plays a vital leadership role in ensuring equitable access to academic and campus resources for students with disabilities. This position supports the Director in overseeing departmental operations, developing inclusive programming, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations. The Assistant Director will work directly with students; supervise staff, collaborate with campus partners, and assist in creating a culture of inclusion and accessibility across the college. The position assists with strategic planning, assessment, technology implementation, policy development, and operational effectiveness while ensuring students receive timely, high-quality accommodations and support. In supporting the Director, the Assistant Director will demonstrate a strong commitment to student access; value diversity through involvement, Universal Design, participate in institutional projects and initiatives, and have a deep understanding of disability rights and inclusive practices. |
