| The Adjunct Instructor for Medical Assisting supports student success across CCD’s Medical Assisting Program. This position is responsible for teaching medical assisting and Phlebotomy courses. This may include lecture, lab and internship courses. Teaching assignments may include online, in-person, daytime and evening course
The position reports to the Medical Assisting/Phlebotomy Program Chair and works collaboratively with faculty and staff to align teaching with program outcomes and college expectations. |

| What You'll Be Teaching and Leading
Deliver engaging, evidence-based nursing instruction across lecture and clinical settings, aligned with CCCS curriculum standards
Mentor and evaluate students during clinical rotations, providing constructive, real-time feedback
Contribute to ongoing curriculum review to ensure content reflects current nursing practice and Colorado Board of Nursing requirements
Maintain accurate student records, grading, and documentation in accordance with CCCS academic policies |

| Regular Faculty work under the direction of the Director of Behavioral Health and are responsible for meeting all scheduled classes/simulation/clinics and providing instruction in accordance with the philosophy and objectives of the College and the Department’s approved course outline. Regular Faculty are also responsible for using teaching methods and media designed to reach students of varying educational and experiential backgrounds to allow each student the opportunity to master the objectives of the course. |
