Instructor - Anthropology	Denver
The Adjunct Instructor for Anthropology is responsible for teaching part-time within the program. The successful Adjunct Instructor for Anthropology must possess the academic and practical expertise to guide student learning and success, and to serve as a mentor and model for students. This position will demonstrate strong instructional skills and engage a diverse student body using traditional, nontraditional, and innovative methods of instruction and effectively structure classes and curriculum to support program and course outcomes. The Behavioral Science Department is committed to student-centered teaching that fosters personal and academic success of our students, who are predominantly first-generation and from backgrounds underrepresented in higher education. Ideal candidates will be able to help transition new students into the college experience. Instructor - Philosophy	Denver
The Adjunct Instructor for Philosophy is responsible for teaching part-time within the Department of Humanities, Literature, and Philosophy at CCD. Candidates must possess strong teaching skills and the ability to engage students using traditional, nontraditional and innovative methods of instruction, including the use of technology, while teaching in a curriculum grounded in core values of critical thinking, respect, competence, professional development, and ethical responsibility. A commitment to student academic success that goes beyond the classroom is essential. Recent experience working with Latinx/Hispanic, African American, Native American and other racially/ ethnically, socioeconomically minoritized students in the classroom is preferred. Responsibilities of the Adjunct Instructor of Philosophy include: Developing syllabi and course materials using culturally responsive pedagogy and adult learning theory for on-campus, in-person courses; supporting students’ academic progress; actively participating in the department's ongoing assessment process, including collection of artifacts, norming, and post-assessment review; teaching future courses as assigned using a variety of modalities (i.e. hybrid, and/or compressed sections); evaluating student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes; actively participate in college-wide and program specific professional developments; utilizing technology-based programs to access and input information related to student records and college processes (e.g., Banner, D2L, grade books, etc.); maintain competency and currency in the teaching field(s), as well as in teaching strategies, subject delivery modalities, and assessment methods. The Adjunct Instructor for Philosophy is expected to be familiar with both College and Auraria Campus expectations, including accessibility, academic standards, personal responsibilities, and all rules and regulations. Assistant Professor of Surgical Technology, Provisional Faculty	Aurora, Denver
The full-time Surgical Technology faculty position is a full-time, 9-month position with option to teach summer courses for additional compensation. This position collaborates with the Program Chair in the planning, coordination, and management of the Surgical Technology program, ensuring its alignment with industry standards and continued success. The Surgical Technology Assistant Professor delivers comprehensive instruction to both junior and senior students, providing high-quality education in clinical settings, labs, and classrooms, including online formats when appropriate. This faculty member demonstrates expertise in surgical technology procedures and fosters effective communication with students, staff, clinical partners, and peers. In addition to teaching, the role plays a critical part in developing and refining course curricula, implementing program initiatives, and contributing to the growth and success of the Surgical Technology program through thoughtful program management and administrative support. Faculty may need to teach at a variety of times (days, evenings, some weekends).

The Faculty of Nursing, provides classroom, laboratory, or related instruction under the supervision of the Department Chair and is responsible for planning and providing student instruction in accordance with approved syllabi, curriculum guidelines, and required program standards.
ESL Instructor	Fort Morgan
This position is responsible for the instruction of ESL students at the Beginning or Intermediate Levels. This position will coordinate with the Student Retention & Basic Skills Specialist to ensure student needs are being met through careful record-keeping of all facets of student performance including test results, subject gains and attendance. Responsibilities include lesson planning, record-keeping, answering student questions/inquiries via email and phone, grading and providing constructive feedback on assignments, composing course outlines/syllabi, and consistently collaborating and communicating with the Student Retention & Basic Skills Specialist to connect students to opportunities they are interested in while in the program. This position will include teaching times primarily in the mornings/afternoons though in the future could include teaching assignments in the evenings and on weekends, depending on student/community needs. A variety of instructional delivery modalities (synchronous, hybrid, remote) will be employed via Zoom and other platforms. The individual shall perform all duties while promoting opportunities for inclusion, expressing the valuing of differences, and regularly demonstrating the college's commitment to the Guiding Principles.
