The Role
The primary focus and accountabilities of this position is to work within the Consumer Lending Transformation team to design, analyse and communicate business requirements and to support the effective delivery of the Consumer Lending Transformation Program. This role is multi-faceted and will include various system and process related business solutions being delivered through Agile methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships through engagement with customers, colleagues and other key stakeholders across all stages of the system development life cycle
- Play a key role in the development of functional documentation, facilitating the management or changes if required and supporting testing initiatives and the resolution of problems as they emerge
- Lead the articulation of business strategic customer interactions and experiences
- Lead the compilation and/or validation of system requirements and process documentation to ensure feasibility and traceability requirements
- Take ownership of ensuring all activities for business & customer value have been explored, documented and scrutinised prior to submission
- Support the business in production of cost benefit analysis or production of business case submissions
- Facilitate workshops and design sessions using the appropriate methodologies and frameworks
- Coach & mentor team members and support the maturity development of our business analyst community
- Act as a relevant subject matter expert and representative of the team in various stakeholders’ forums and work with internal and external business partners to shape solutions
- Positively influence resolution of problems and issues with consideration of existing competing priorities.
Skills & Experience
- Tertiary degree in Business, IT, Commerce or related discipline
- Extensive experience in Technology, Banking industry experience
- Experience delivering large Transformation Programs
- Experience on large scale technical programs in a complex change environment
- Mortgage Lending Products & Processes & Systems Experience
- Agile and/or Lean project delivery experience
